About RoamThai

A Thailand-based travel eSIM store · Founded 2026 in Bangkok

Built by a traveler, for travelers

RoamThai was started by Wutthikrit Punsri, who watched too many friends land in Thailand and immediately get herded into overpriced airport SIM booths — long queues, confusing plans, and prices two or three times what the data was worth.

The idea is simple: a traveler should be able to buy mobile data for Thailand before boarding the plane, get it as a QR code in minutes, and step off the aircraft already connected. No passport scans, no paperwork, no tourist traps.

How it works

RoamThai is a reseller, not a mobile network. We partner with wholesale eSIM providers whose data profiles ride on Thailand's three major networks — DTAC, AIS, and TrueMove H. When you buy a plan:

  1. You pay securely through our online store.
  2. Our system provisions an eSIM profile for your trip length and data allowance.
  3. You receive a QR code by email within minutes (and on the confirmation page, instantly).
  4. You scan it on Wi-Fi, land in Thailand, switch on data roaming — and you're online.

These are travel data profiles issued outside Thailand, which is why no passport registration is required — unlike Thai-issued SIM cards.

What we promise

  • Honest pricing. The price you see is the price you pay. No hidden fees, no "tourist tax".
  • Real human support. Email us at [email protected] or WhatsApp +66 64 271 5235 — we reply within 24 hours, usually much faster.
  • Refund if it never activates. If your eSIM never activated and your device turns out incompatible, you get a full refund within 14 days. See our refund policy.
  • Privacy by default. We only ask for your email to deliver the eSIM. No passport scans, no ID uploads — ever.

What we're not

We're a small, independent store — not a telecom giant. That means no call centers and no 40-page contracts, but it also means every support message is read by a real person who actually wants your trip to go well. If something breaks on our side, we fix it or refund it. That's the deal.
